Hi,

Thought I would share this waffle holder that I made...

I got the ally from a scrap job at work - it was too long so I cut one end off and bent it up again with a block of wood and a hammer LOL. Does the job, and at a bargain price of naff-all

What else have people used?

I would have thought a couple of carriage bolts with big washers and a wing nut would have been easier and lighter? I am not sure where I am going to put mine yet.

My bet is that if you run somebody over and they go onto the bonnet and get fooked you're gona get fooked. Also yer jacks gona get siezed to fook outside, and it's in the swept area of the screen is it not, and the bungies aint gona hold fokal if you hit sumut, whats holding the jack??

if he runs someone over i dont suppose they are going to be bothered by some waffle board shaped inprints on there forehead, specially seeing as their legs will have just been smashed to a pulp by that winch bumper

but if he has to stop quickly the person he's following might wonder why they've now got a hilift shaped hole in their rear window

FFS does no one on here have any sense?? If he hits some fooker. They int gonna land on the bonnet. They're going straight under the front of the disco. & they're gonna have a winch shaped forehead when it's all over.

Jack is bolted with the 4XRAC brackets, so isn't going anywhere. I want some better bungies, but even with those the boards didn't move - and we went over some proper rough stuff on the weekend. I did think about wingnuts, but with cold, muddy / gloved hands, they are just a bit fiddley (from the last time I used the jack - that's on wingnuts.)

And it's not my intention to leave the jack there 24/7 - someone will pinch it!!

Great fun int it Sirus. Steamed up Tail gate window, useless little fartin windows either side of the previously mentioned steamed up window, van sides and A knobly tyre oooot the front.

At least tthe have nobbles. If they wuz road tyres you wouldn't have any gaps to look through.

Yep correct an approved landrover mod, betcha you cant find a landrover approved jack mounted on bonnet photo. hehehe

But yes a stupid law in this instance, but would you face issues if you fitted it with a bigger than standard tyre I wonder:scratching_chin:

I don't know what them jack mounts are like, but I would like to think there is a big flat bar under the bonnet to stop it pulling out.

And not bigger bungees, fit ratchet straps at least, but I think you are gona get a pull by traffic

Defo get pulled by traffic when all them big clods of earth start falin off on the public highway!!! And I hope you normaly clean those lights before you go onto public roads ya bad en and while your here sir do you mind telling me where your front number plate is? Oh I see... its under an inch of mud is it. Do you mind just steping into our car for a moment please sir? They guna like you in prison.... It normally gets a proper clean at the closest jetwash. Before hitting the road I cleaned the windows, but forgot the number plate this time :der:
