New member here. I've do offroad motorcycling and now keen to move to four wheels. I have an Adventure 110 unmodified as yet. My dream is to have a go on MOD sites such as Aldershot / Normandy or equivalent. Any advice on how to gently get started and contacts welcome. Cheers

Hi Treps,

Welcome to the looneyzone.

To go greenlaning, I would suggest joining GLASS, also FB has a lot of groups, find some local to youand go for a drive , but please make sure they are responsible green laners.

Alternatively if you want to go and play off road, look for pay and play sites local to you.

As you do not say where you are, there are many local landy / 4x4 clubs so worth having a look around.

Cheers

I assume you are in Hampshire.

look on the green laning forum for contacts.
The MOD wont let you go on their sites around Aldershot. Normandy et al, you can drive in a car,

Thanks neilly. I am based near Redhill. I'll look at GLASS and search for local clubs. Cheers

Hi Treps,

There are a few members based in that area.

If you hang around long enough, then I am sure you will soon find others local to you. PLus there is the regional section where you may find others. Or as MHM says have a shufti at the greenlaning section.

But please do be careful, as a bike rider I take it you were a member of the TRF?

Cheers

...yes, but never an 'active' one. And I kept my low dB exhaust on the bike and switched my engine off when passing horse riders.

Glad to hear it:p , I think most members are responsible, TRF also have access to the trailwise system that is run by GLASS.

Cheers
