Hi-Lift Jack Roll Cage Mounts?

Hey chaps,

Recently relocated my hi-lift for better access(was behind the seats, now on the other side) its currently secured via seatbelts but takes ages to get back in!

So I was looking at getting some roll cage mounts so I can have it fitted in the back, though looking them up they are £70! More than the damn Hi-Lift cost me!

Anyone have any alternatives or home made/cheaper methods of mounting?

I just used 2 long M12 bolts to hold the Hi-lift to my spare tyre on the Disco, you could maybe do something similar. The fixing nut is an M12 Nyloc, worked on Nyloc first ..

Ahh not bad but you gave me an idea!

No to find out what they are called and where to buy them...

Edit - Woo found loads on ebay! This will be much easier! Just have to keep a socket in the car

If anyone was wondering I bought these -

Zinc plated steel U bolts with Plate Nuts and Washers SMALL FREE DELIVERY | eBay

Fit the cage perfectly and almost fit the Hi-Lift perfectly. £5.00 is much better for Hi-Lift mounts than £50.00!
