Hi everyone,Just recently bought a Freelander td4,5 speed manual deisel and I love it,last car was a renault megane!:doh:
Thought I'd join the forum now that I'm a landy owner at last!

Thanks Lads,I've only had it for less than a week and there's a couple of wee things wrong already,small drips of clutch or brake fluid on my driveway and yesterday the battery light is coming on!
Oh well,I'm still chuffed to bits with it!

Welcome from an ex-pat.

Well,off to a bad start with my Freelander,the bugger wouldn't start so had to call out recovery truck yesterday(thank god it was covered by my insurance)new battery & alternator from landrover so that's me £580 lighter in the pocket dept,also got the delightful news that my IRD plug is knacked and if they remove it I will need a whole new IRD unit.. oh bloody brilliant!
I see what you lads mean by needing a sense of humour when it comes to owning a freelander!
