The system may require calibration, that may help. This is done automatically by the Hevac at various set intervals in the early life of the car to take up seal compression.. You need to find someone with a Nanocom who will run a calibration for you as the automatic ones are far apart later, every 500th start up. If the blend motors have been changed at some point calibration should have been done at that time. Calibration sets the flaps at their full travel against the flap stops, the end values obviously change as the seals are more and more compressed over time. The HEVAC ECU stores this information and uses it as a reference point for setting the various flaps to set positions as different settings are selected. If things improve as you play this maybe most of if not all of the problem.

thanks next on list to buy nanocom when defender is sold

Do that, and learn how to use it. The Nanocom is the best bit of kit you will ever get for your car. Will save you a bloody fortune in diag costs over time and garage bills if you are handy with spanners. ;)

Took plug off pressure switch but only getting power only on blue black which is for the fans any ideas

you may have low pressure in the aircon system, that'll lead to the compressor not kicking in, unless there are other issues of course, have you have the aircon regassed or verified at any point?

Air con regassed
