what was the water pump like when you took it off because the remaining water looked filthy,that pump was only a few months old by the way so should last you a long time.

After a good weekend, The repairs and fault finding starts! :doh:

Need to replace clutch/flywheel
Figure out what is causing it not to turn over bloody annoying
Have a better look at the fuel pressure regulator
and finally a wheel bearing (the only one i've not done yet)

Still debating weather to do gearbox down or engine out.....

I shall upload my 2 photo's from the weekend shortly

Hiya Lee - Still fitting them. the pump was a mess inside mate - still working ok but it looks like someone's been running simple water and the corrosion inside was excessive. Really grabbed it as a spare just in case. |The PAS bits are about half way fitted though so getting there slowly!

How about you? Are we still allowed to grab that xfer box or has the motor gone?

Questions of which there are two:

Ref the steering box. Assuming that the one I am fitting is newer than the one I have taken off... the input shaft on the original box had a groove in it that the pinch nut would sit in. The newer box has no such groove... does this mean that I have to change the whole UJ on the steering column?
