Went up to Harlington lane tonight with Gibbo phil. Should be open as of 1st May, but gates still locked and have been since it was TRO'd last May.
We walked the lane and it's had it's ruts infilled and it's bone dry and hard.
If it's not opened soon, I'll be on to the council.

Are you going back the same evening?:eek:

That was the plan, but looking at the calendar the stock market is going to be hectic Thursday day, rate decisions etc, and as I don't want to be trading that I may just crash at the premier inn, then take a leisurely drive down Thurs. Which means I can get a bit hammered at the pub :D

Can't make the pub tonight unfortunately... would have been good to meet booger and see the rest of you but domestic emergencies must take priority I am afraid!

Sorry could'nt make it had an expensive day today had to get new tyres all round, didn't realise how low the tread was getting, so got some new grabbers on it now

Beaker just dropped me of home... we were a little surprised when a vauxhall 2 cars ahead suddenly lit up like a christmas tree just after we saw an anpr interceptor car go speeding off ahead then slow down to follow someone else! Nice to see you all again and nice to meet you Booger :)

I recon that lane in Essex is dry enough to do now without ending up in the river. Can't do this weekend, but maybe the one after.

Good to see everyone last night.

Probably is... ;) won't be trying it alone though!!

I quite fancy the long ford that's out that way too!! Shouldn't be too bad after the last few weeks weather!

Certainly want to do them before I move back to Shropshire next month.

Furneaux Pelham will be pretty much empty, just a few puddles I expect, hardly worth the trip.

True... Ah well... I'll make a trip down in the Autumn!!

THAT other lane, would probably be driveable but I remember walking it to the far end and it does get very narrow... like 3ft narrow where they've built up the banks of the stream... might be able to dip wheels in water but not sure how big a drop it was where they'd built up the banks.
