Think ive seen that one before.. or a very similar one..

I am tempted to make a video explaining why they are being so unreasonable because they just dont seem to get it..

I have to say I'm half tempted by peterborough .. probably going to **** it up again though on the off road course :D Might find a cheapish snorkel if i have some money left at all!!

Looks like that is a familiar vehicle there! Bloody typical though... just exactly how anyone is ruining their countryside eludes me... and for the old bill to suggest getting index numbers and so on is a little steep when people are acting within the law!

Jack I'm at Peterbourgh, well will be this afternoon :D:D

A mate of mine lives just down the road from violets, said there had been a few of track and some carried on up the river, Think my mate is trying to prove to them that not all 4x4 owners are Idiots.

I think the owner of the motor is on here I remember posting on it,
I recall he was gonna get in touch with them to ask for a correction in the Title as it said Illigal 4x4 and that picture is of a totally legal run that's last I heard of it.

Well Kai's been working on his go kart... he has a set up that includes a kind of roll cage and some meshing for protection... he has some steel to weld to the chassis to create a floor for thge engine and has got the engine running.

He has stripped a centrefugal clutch from a different law mower and is looking at ways to marry that up to the drive from the ouput shaft on his engine...

He's ready to start welding tomorrow... and we pick up some 8 inch wheels... axles and from steerable wheels from londinium on tuesday (£36 Ebay).

So he has had a busy day even if I was in bed till lunch time!

Ryder btw I would be up for some karting (dont remember if i said before) if you have an extra space some time.

Whos going to Peterborough tomorrow? Saw lots of landies going up the M11 on friday afternoon/evening and a few coming back tonight

Ryder a few of us a few years back built some home made go kart unfortunatly i didn't build owt but did drive them all and twas loadsa fun. We hunted down the most powerful briggs n stratton 8hp and managed a top speed of gps'd 32mph in a converted kettle car sitting an inch off the floor. We burnt the plastic tyres out and was asked to leave toys r us carpark as it the only place with a big enough car park out of the way without any hazzards.

We used centrifugal clutches for a while but they were naff i think Dan a mate found some suiatable springs and made semi adjustable biting point. Eventually everyone ended up with an over center pulley tentioning the drive belt which worked perfect and we just carried a spare belt. Bit of faffing about to gett the correct pivot point but all was good.

Loadsa fun but that was 17 to 33 year olds feckin about. Ow did I mention Dan arc welding in the rain and drilling into his knee!

I do remember the accidents a ripped off ear, left had puffer jacket worn through and total loss of skin on arms knees and shoulders. One arm took possibly 7 months to heal. Lots of fun. A broken weld shoved a corner into the tarmac and dug in throwing one of the guys down the road and had a serious face plant. I know one of the guys now has a real cart and takes it out racing when he can.

I think that says more about Land Rovers, than anything else.:D:D

Ahh reminds me of the last LRO show I went to :D:rolleyes: Got a free nights camping (dont tell ;)), supper and beer though :D:D Was in bed for the next few days solid after roughing it in my clothes and a bloody wet landy

We burnt the plastic tyres out and was asked to leave toys r us carpark
