We used centrifugal clutches for a while but they were naff i think Dan a mate found some suiatable springs and made semi adjustable biting point. Eventually everyone ended up with an over center pulley tentioning the drive belt which worked perfect and we just carried a spare belt. Bit of faffing about to gett the correct pivot point but all was good.

Loadsa fun but that was 17 to 33 year olds feckin about. Ow did I mention Dan arc welding in the rain and drilling into his knee!

I do remember the accidents a ripped off ear, left had puffer jacket worn through and total loss of skin on arms knees and shoulders. One arm took possibly 7 months to heal. Lots of fun. A broken weld shoved a corner into the tarmac and dug in throwing one of the guys down the road and had a serious face plant. I know one of the guys now has a real cart and takes it out racing when he can.

8HP? This one os a Briggs and Stratton 35.... I am guessing 35HP maybe 35cc though. Checked it out tonight and it works great... he will be happy if it runs and gives him a good trip around a cra park or two... will be making him wear leathers and helmet though!#

Did you compete this weekend Jai? Wasn't there a competition this weekend?

Had to bail this punch comp landy was full of mud no winch and no spare tyre had a puncture Doh!

On the bright side mud has been emptied, landy has 4 inflated tyres spare still to do, and i think I've decided which way to go for my winch mount and indeed the landy as a whole. Whaddon next Sunday gotta fit winch difflock and puncture sorted.

Is Carpy still lurking about. Remember the vid of Carpy playing in the mud ? Well the Ramones wanted to sue me for using their music, so I had to pull the vid. I have redone it with some German Oompah Porno music, I'll upload in the next couple days...

I'm just waiting for my Morocco vids to re upload, cause I had to take the music out of those too...
 
Didn't feel too unstable tbh might have been a bit different if it was wetter but those tyres stick like glue when off road :eek: Probably would've preferred it if it had rained a bit more but still great fun :D Hope it makes it into the LZ Calendar :D

I do indeed remember! Twas a good video.

Going to try and sort and get running this week, got the time off so why not. May have found a hydraulic pump too :D
