Hi All
Spent the past couple hours trolling through various posts ! The problem I have is a intermittent loss of power, the engine management light coming on for a second then alls fine !
Local garage reckoned EGR removed ,cleaned returned as OK but it still persists ,drove for 70 miles on moterway constant 70mph all ok .the vehicle is a 2005 td4 xei
atb Charlie

Hi All further to the above had it put on code reader ! the reader showed no faults on ECU. So as advised earlier must be either lp fuel pump ,filter or air filter. Any other thoughts ?:scratching_chin: atb Charlie

bet ya it's an electrical connection fault to one of the sensors
( like dirty or corroded plug-socket pins )
a sensor or solenoid that splits between high and low revs ..
for that i'd look at the fuel rail pressure sensor plug connections..
and the turbo and *egr solenoids ..
( * if a working egr valve is still fitted .. i.e. hasn't been 'deleted' )

btw: evidently injectors can be fine in one power band / rev range .. and out-of-spec in others
