Help with flashing S and M on display

will do, not really short journeys, happened on our way back from scotland after we'd been travelling for 10 mins, just slipped into a sluggish engine sound and lights came on this weekend.. going to check battery tomorrow and see what happens..

Hi Amanda. The 2 most common causes for this are the WXYZ switch, aslo known as the gearbox selector switch, or a duff battery, as the gearbox ECU does not like voltage irregularities and goes into limp home mode (2nd & 3rd gears selecting only).
