this thread is again a typical example of the unhelpfull replies from the know it alls that instead of trying to help, they prefer to give abuse,an,, i suspect they actually know nothing

1,, if do a search was the first step, why bother having a discussion board at all ?
2, its good to discuss ideas and exchange views, not insults

yes, reading the manual is a great idea if you understand what you are reading , but i find this view rather smug,

to all the clever unhelpfull members who get a kick out of giving abuse to a fellow landy owner, i hope one day you come here asking for help and get the reply you deserve

Nice to see someone making a positive contribution to help the OP on his way ...

Oh sorry, you're just slagging people off. As you were!

First disclaimer is I know less than feck all specifically about Freelanders.

However, back to basics ..

If the plugs are wet and it's not starting, then there's either too much fuel, too little air, or no spark or a combination of.

You reckon the electrics are OK and that the fuel is OK, so have you checked all the air intake system? From inlet to engine ... a blocked filter, a cracked/folded hose can cause havoc. Have you checked the exhaust system? From manifold to exit, a dead bird can again cause issues .. ;)

If you'd come back to the jokes and had a laugh then you would very likely have got the issue nailed by now, 'cos those same people who you think are taking the **** have a combined knowledge of Freelanders that surpasses all .. well, more than mine anyway .. You shot yourself in the foot.

That's all ...
