Right

Well today i fitted a 200tdi bumper and after fitting you have the wires left over etc so as they where flashing fast i thought cut the end plugs of and connect both wires to make a circuit like if the buld was there for indicatos obv. After doing that it has blown a fuse. replaced the fuse and nothing at all

can anyone help me as i am starting to lose it lol

Changing the indicator relay would have been the logical thing to do if the indicators were flashing to fast.

They were only flashing fast as hes taken 2 bulbs out of the circuit and then put red to black thinking this would make the connection to stop them flashing too fast:)

is this serious? may as well have shorted the battery too, as if there was a starter if the way.............:clap2:

thanks for thecomments but yeaI screwed up not thinking then realised I messed up and someone put me in the right direction of the indicator relay ?

You have created a dead short ! The wires to the lamps are one live and one negative !! The relay requires 35 amperes of resistance to function !!
Buy a manual or take it to a mechanic mate !! If you we're to do that on certain other parts of your truck it will set on fire !!!
If you have no understanding of electrics at all why would you attempt such a thing ??

There may be trouble ahead ! Relay is the part that clicks when indicators flash!!!!

Cheers for the advice don't ask why I did it :( anyway is the relay under passenger footwell ? Any idea which one as there is about 7 ?

Should be under steering wheel,I think its the black one. Some of them had flasher relay stamped on them.

Ok cool I know whitch one on a better note I want to remove the bumper lighting loom .. I see you can unplug it ... What's the best way to covert to a 200 bumper and solve the quick flashing issue ?

To simplify things you need a relay for 6 indicators not the 8 you had before,so if you get a relay from an older type like a 200 or early 300 you should be fine.
