Help! Lost my side repeaters!

I'm hoping someone can help....

A tree stole my side repeater lens (passenger side) and as such the wire and presumably the bulb have disappeared into the hole in the body work

How to I retrieve them? Can't seem to get at it from above, do I need to take out the wheel arch liner? :scratching_chin:

Whats left will be laying ontop of the wheel arch liner.

disco 1, I'd remove wing bolts (under bonnet & open door) and prise it open enough to get to it. Which is what I actually did recently when I forgot to plug it back together before putting my wing back on:doh:

BTW, it is a Disco 1

Having tried fishing with a bent coat hanger through the hole I lost patience and unbolted the panel from the top, managed to prize it away just enough to get my fishing device in only for the new side repeaters to be the wrong size!! :dizzy:

Managed to wedge it out with a bit of cane and reassemble the landrover before we were kindly given a new pair in exchange for cake....all is well that ends well
