Please can someone help me, i have replaced my original lead for the high pressure fuel sensor, but i got distracted and not sure if the connections to the ecu are correct.

LR are being a pain and will not supply any info.

Does anyone have the correct wireing diagram for this procedure or have a look at the ecu connection of there own freelander and update me with the correct info.

Kind regards

Shor

Sorry peeps, Freelander TD4, 2005, Manual, 3 door.

The overlay lead is additional to the original which you remove the existing 3 wire's from the terminal blocks on the ECU and replace with the new 3 wire's and a new hole that you make in the ecu protective housing.

the reason this is needed is due to a corrosion issue on the plug that is attached to the high pressure fuel sensor, i gather its a common problem.

I have the sheet from LR with all the detail on it - trouble is its at work and I'm not back there till monday......
If you still need it then I'll dig it out.

Ok,the wires go into connector 606,which is the 3rd one from right side of the ecu looking to the rear of the car.The pin numbers are 35 - White/Yellow. 20 - Brown/green. And 33 - Blue/black.
If you slide the actual connector block out of its clamp/holder thingy you should see the numbers at either end of the block. The original wires are the same colour too, which is a big help.
The TSB is numbered LTB00052/2007. Your dealer ought to be friendly enough to print it off for you really.

Just read this thread as my Freelander harness was playing up, running rough and struggling to start. I nipped the plug together which lasted a while whilst on holiday in Cornwall. Bought a new harness and have just fitted it. The ECU was easier when you know what numbers they correspond to. Helpful hint... do it one at a time!!! The black plastic plug that comes with the new harness is used the clean the sensor terminals, I used a spray of electrical cleaner too. Anyone doing this mod, make sure that you hear an audible click when connecting the plug :)..
