dead lock and mechanical door lock broken.

Car has deadlocked itself. Positive on Battery was loose, I tightened it the. The car deadlocked when it connected. I tried the door and the bar in the lock has fallen out so no manual opening, push button on key useless. AA man here, you can't pull the locks up manually as its deadlocked and you can't short the tailgate. Any ideas other than smashing the window? On that note, which is the cheapest window to replace?

if it's superlocked getting in won't help. check you messages in 1 min.

Sorry yeah p38. Managed to short the tailgate open now. Can unlock the drivers door now, seems the latch was just stuck needed me pulling/pushing the lock inside whilst the key was being turned outside to get that to work. Central locking just won't move now and obviously still key code lock out. Entered eka code (correctly) and still no joy. At least I got the dog out.

Central locking control unit a common problem? Doesent appear to be a fuse for central locking as a whole, all fuses are intact.

Central locking I believe is the domain of the BeCM

Door locks are common to burn out. And if the door lock microswitch is knackered, no attempt at anything will either a) enter the EKA unless you short the switch wires or b) Cycle the door locks!
