Pump from e*** relay was main dealer as e*** more expensive & only one listed !!
Ok well hubby is mechanic but we all know they are the worst kind with their own cars !!! Pehaps I should get him to remove old unit and have relay on standby just in case its required - I just thought £46 was a lot as its half the cost of the 2nd hand pump unit we just bought !
Maybe ask main dealer if can return for refund if not required as it easter a weekend and they will not be open !!!

Take the top cover off the relay and look at the contact, if it's clean and not burnt it should be OK.

Datatek, Wammers & Saint.V8 BIG THANK YOU :)

New brake pump fitted successfully & brake fluid change complete - all lights gone out and the brakes work yay ! :D:D:D

Hi
We fitted back in march this year a new pump (& had pressure switch on it) with new brake fluid. System ran perfect until couple weeks ago. On applying brakes - whether lightly or hard the abs,tc & brake warning lights flash on then go out, he pedal does not go hard but I think it is not as responsive as it was. We did a re- bleed which made a difference for a couple of days.

Now anyone have any ideas before we pay for a diagnostic read pretty please.
Alos separate to brakes I know but rf receivers - ours is a 95 p38 can we fit a 2nd generation one to it and will keys need re-programming if we do ?

Thanks in advance once more

Could be the brake reservoir sphere, how often does the pump run.
If you are going to replace the RF receiver, you need the Mk3. It's plug and play, no re-sync needed:)

Thanks will look for mk 3 rf :) The pump is running nearly every time you push brake pedal
