Yeah I found myself wanting one after borrowing the garage's ****ty ones a few times. But I guess series 1s are getting pretty old and rough now?
FL1's are cheap to buy. Often needing usual repairs which are well documented on ere. Cheap motoring as older cars drop in value. You still see a lot of them about in the uk, compared to other cars of the same age. Some of that will be down to peeps wanting to own a LR badged vehicle. You can still get them in good condition but most will be showing their age unless looked after. Diesel more popular than petrol. If yer handy with tools its not a difficult vehicle to work on for most things. Get yer own diagnostics to help and away yer go. Its what i did to start learning many years ago. Fix stuff as it shows signs of failure rather than letting it get worse. Keep on top of servicing and they can be surprisingly reliable. Cheap motoring if all goes ok.

Thanks. Definitely on the maybe list for next car purchase. The Series aren't always the best thing to drive around in!
