Anyone got a couple of the clips that hold the cables down just where they enter the heater box on a 90/defender?

Or anyone ordering from Craddocks (Paddocks may have them but i can't see them).. they only cost 54p each but they want £6 for postage!! (Thats to the uk not even Denmark)

John Craddock LTD - RETAINING CLIP FOR HEATER CONTROL CABLES 90/110 - 13H7343L

I can send a couple of quid to someone via paypal if they will forward them on to a uk address for me??

:) Pretty please...its a tad cold here now and I can't put the new matrix in til i get the clips.....

Its not the P clips I'm after Jai..its the little metal clip that sits on the end of the plastic cable covering just where it meets the heater..

Had a hell of a time trying to describe them...and i'm still not sure i've made myself clear!!

They're like the metal clips you get on the back of some posters/paintings..they sit into a housing and you pop them out with a flatblade screwdriver...i'm trying to find a picture!!

Yea they are like sprung steel they clip at the end of the outter cable and hold the outter in a fixed place ontop of the heater matrix I never had any on my heater matrix so the outter tends to move rarther than the inner bowden cable if you get me?

Exactly..unfortunately the only place i can find them is craddocks but theres no picture to 100% confirm that its what i'm after..i'm a bit worried they will send me the P clips tbh!!

you have tried breakers and motor factors ?

No, i never thought of that...:blabla:

If it was that easy i wouldn't start a post here...there are NO land rover part shops in denmark and NO scrapyards..

I have a picture..under Part 1. Removing the heater box..3rd picture, ignore the red circle..its the clip with what looks like a pin in it about 2 inches to the left of the nut and bolt at the end of the cable..

This clip has an old British Leyland part number - 13H7343 (without the 'L')

Which is now superseded to the Land Rover part number 13H7343L (with the 'L').

Here's a picture (from L.R.Series) of what you're looking for -

(as above) L.R.Series do them -

13H7343L CHOKE CABLE CLIP | Land Rover Series 1948-1984: Engine: Fuel | shop | www.lrseries.com | L. R. Series

as do Rimmer Brothers -

Land Rover - Clip - Genuine at www.rimmerbros.co.uk

I don't know about L.R.Series, but Rimmer Brothers are quite reasonable with their P&P charges for small items.
