Morning All,

On the way into work this morning my rear window wasn't clearing, light on the dash Ok but not clearing the window. I wound it down to clear and got a stange beeping sound from the dash, somewhere round the parking sensor. Rear heater light on the dash now out and I didn't want to mess with the window until back home. Anyone had this? Hoping it might just be a fuse?

I would suggest you try to re-calibrate the rear window by disconnecting the battery - I can't remember the exact process but it will be documented on here. The rear window is controlled by a ECU and if it thinks that it is not closed fully it will not allow the heated window or the rear wiper to operate.

It's worth a try but from the symptoms it sounds like there may be a problem.

Wind the window all the way down and back up again. If this doesn't work.
Make sure you have the radio code , then disconnect the battery negative terminal for 30 seconds. On reconnection the rear window should drop to the bottom. Switch on the ignition, then push the rear window up button until the window is fully closed. This will calibrate the window.
