Hi Can anyone tell me
are the early headlights with orange indicators changable with the later white lens indicator headlights?
I ask as I have white indicators on a rhd car in france, and want to fit the orange headlights which are available at a good price for a LHD car.
Half price of the white ones.
Thanks for your help
Or has anyone managed to convert rhd lights to lhd ?

From memory, all pre-facelift headlamps are interchangeable, the only difference was the colour of the indicator lenses.
I changed the yellow lenses to later clear, and I'm pretty sure it was plug n play, although it was over a decade ago now, but I think my memory is correct on this.

cheers I thought they might be, will buy the cheap ones, and if I can will swop the white light over, if I don't like the orange ones!

As far as I know now for the ct test you can just use the beam deflectors, my son has a C4 RHD which they passed with deflectors but I would check with the test centre you use, if you drive it a lot at night I would probably change them as the lights are better than with deflectors

My Ct center will pass it, but as you say night driving is a pain. and can buy a pair second hand for only 40 euros so a no brainer

My van RHD and I changed them for the same reason, Like you say 40€ not a big thing but if you have a car with very expensive lights and you do not do a lot of night driving than the beam deflectors are okay
