I live in France half of the time & have re-registered my RHD 2001 Vogue. It passed the CT last time with beam benders on the headlights. I don't drive at night much & the headlights seem adequate when I do but I did wonder if it was worthwhile fitting LHD headlights.
I recall years ago when I lived on the Côte d'Azur that I re-registered a RHD MGF. It passed a CT with stickers on the headlights but vision at night was awful. Driving up & down mountain roads with a drop on the right hadn't sound was scary as I could see so little. I eventually swapped to LHD headlights & it transformed night driving as the headlight beam dipped to the right.
Has anyone done this? ie fitted LHD headlights to a RHD P38. Was it worth it?
There is only one pair of LHD headlights for sale on eBay for £290 delivered from Latvia. They look a bit tatty. New LHD headlights are nearly £400 each

Mine has passed with the mod for 14 years and curiously, my LHD turned out to have one RHD headlight which caused a CT fail, I quickly modded that one and that too passed.
