Jumped in the disco tonight and switched the lights on. No headlamps, just side lights and a high beam light on the dash board. Dipped the lights via the stalk and nowt, still no headlamps.
Waggled the stalk back and forth und up and down lest it had stuck but still nowt, feels like it's workin but no headlamps and blue high beam light on all the time.
Where's the fuses btw.??
Any help appreciated.:)

Check fuses under steering wheel. Make sure no previous owner has added an in line fuse any where. (under bonnet etc). Also check all earths are clean and tight.

Is that the large panel under the steering wheel?
Why would it be a fuse when both dip and main are out and the high beam light is permenatly on even when stalk is in dip position, just thinkin.:)

how old is yo disco - check fusible links or under bonnet fuse box.
It's 93/94 and cant find any fuses under bonnet, just connections.
Lights perfect one minute just as I switched off, then nowt when I switched on again. Why would the blue high beam lamp be on all the time I ask.:)

yes big panel under steering wheel. Bit strange really. could be just really un-lucky (like me) and the stork could have gone faulty. def check earths though.
