Hiya guys,
Replaced my vcu bearings this weekend - all my problems sorted now! and Hunters wanted £1400 to change my IRD....nah thanks Mr Stealer, I did it myself for £66 and 3hours of my time!

Anyhow, having had the prop on and off a few times I learnt a time saving trick.
Get ya truck well out of the way,
Lay out your assembled VCU on cardboard, withthe appropriate screws, grease and spanners at each joint onthe vcu (i.e a 10mm long reach socket for support bearings, 13mm spanner and torx socket for IRD prop etc.)

Drive over your assembly!

It is now in perfect placement for assembly, no need to drag it under your truck or struggle wriggling it under on your tummy.

Stating the obvious but some of the DIY'ers out there need all the help theycan get :p
