Hi there.
I have a query on my hand brake in relation to the rear axle. I have the brake drum set up and was wondering if it is right that when I have my landy on the axle stands and have the handbrake on is it normal to be able to turn the rear wheels even when the prop shaft is locked?

Hello and welcome:)
Yes quite normal you will notice if you turn the wheel the other will go the other way, its the diff doing it job.

Thanks for your reply fella. Not sure I was clear about my problem. Can you still turn the rear wheels when they're off the ground with the hand brake on?

yes but opposite wheel will turn the other way ,to test hand brake you only jack one rear wheel up then it wont turn if handbrake is applied
