Having a problem with the brakes on my 2005 TD4 , I put new pads on front and shoes on rear the car already had both new cables on it so after refitting everything the handbrake now works on only 3 clicks from lever the problem I'm having now is when I'm driving the car I have difficulty stopping it even if i pump the brake the pedal travels way too far for my liking before stopping, I read somewhere that I need to drop handbrake and slack off at handbrake lever then adjust the rear hubs , just wondering how far I have to back off the adjuster under the centre console before adjusting the rear hubs ,thanks in advance

I managed to adjust the drivers side adjuster manually from back of the drum, the passenger side is tricky it will either lock the brake solid or drops off to much so now when I lift hand brake one brake will be fine on 5 clicks but passenger side is 7 clicks
Also the passenger side wheel cylinder seems difficult to bleed
