hi all this is my first post been a member for a few months, just like to say wot a top man at gwent 4x4 in monmouthshire bought a rear axle for my defender 90 300tdi great price with every thing on it will be using this company again so if you are in the south wales area or just over the bridge u know were to go ian.

Well you must off been lucky...or a friend lol....these are the biggest bunch of conmen on the planet, we have just been ripped off BIG time...cant say much as it will be going into the hands of a solicitor, but to all of you out there thinking of buying from these think again....you DO NOT GET WOT YOU PAY FOR..plus a lot of their items are of a dubious nature....so all you true landy lovers..give em a miss if ya dont want to be ripped off...this is not a joke its true facts...they also go under Direct 4x4 breakers, No Fear Ltd and tynwald66 on e bay...no doubt they will have more but wot ever they go by they are Ed and Michael Fear......BUY AT YOUR PERIL...I cant understand how they have got away with it for so long
 
Gwent 4x4 "crooks", paid for the parts £600 never got them, this was over a month ago in May 2011, phoned and were told stoies after stories, still waiting, phoned again and again and told put it in writing, then hung up Mr Fear and son both avoid any further contact and do not reply to any calls or emails, one poor guy there Avid who is left to take calls, or whatever his name has these calls on a regular basis.
Be carful I am money down and no parts, you have been warned!!

Below from Findabreaker.com - I make no further comment and am only passing on the thoughts of others!!!

"I have paid a very small deposit on a part that sounds ideal, for a good price..
I was going to get them to deliver, but after having read all this I will go and collect at the end of the month.... starting to wonder if there will be anyone there! I have Edward Fears home address, so I suppose the worst that can happen is I lose the deposit and the cost of the fuel to get there...
Also wondering if the part is from a less-than-honest source now...

Well I wish I`de seen all this stuff before I bought my Disco from them as I have now found them to be total theiving scum.
I went to see the car @ there so called landRover specialist (some old guezer in a falling down shed), where it was in bits @ the time because they were having problems with the alarm system, regardless of which it seemed worth the deal. So I paid a deposite & waited for it to be delivered to devon & waited & waited. They were pretty much imposible to get hold of as one phone number doesnt work & the others get ignored. Eventually it got delivered.
Well after he had gone, I got to start having a good look @ it. Not only did it have plates regisrered to a WV polo they had stripped off loads of parts even down to the peddal rubbers & replaced good lamps with broken ones all round.
All I get from them is an E-mail saying "I havent got a clue what your on about".
There description of just get it MOT`d & your away has so far cost me a grand in parts (just as well I can do most of the work myself).

So yes, BE WARNED, THEY ARE THEIVING CONNING SCUM.

& be warned Edd & Mick, We know where you are.
