Beware! No-Fear-Sales

Hi,

I just want to let others know about a trader off ebay selling landrover spares called No-Fear-Sales.
I ordered some parts from him last week and was assuerd they would be with me the next day. Giving him the benefit of the doubt left it till after the weekend, I contacted him on monday and was told it was in the post and to give it till the end of the day. So after the postman had been today got back on the phone, After quite a few calls He finaly gave me a tracking no for tnt. I contacted tnt to be told no such item had been collected from him or was being sent to my address. So i got back on the phone and told him this to wich his tone changed to being defensive towards me, When I asked him for a refund he refused saying he couldn''t until he got the goods back from tnt which is never going to happen. So I will have to sort this out.
I'm not after advise on this as I am sorting it but just want to warn other landrover owners looking for spares

I have also come to learn that he uses a few other names such as
maxed_up_07
fear_2_be
no fear mx
no fear off road

and also has a web site

Landrover Breakers, Freelander Breakers, 4x4 Breakers

Having read a few other forums it seems as though this guy is a bit of a scam artist and has left a trail of very unhappy customers.

if anyone has been scammed by this guy let me know how you got on.

Ed's a bit disorganised. Also, he has had to move into bigger premises to help meet demand. I don't think there is anything malicious, just disorganised.

I ordered a TD5 and 300tdi engine and several other bits totalling over 1K last month. He took about 2 weeks to get them out to me, but to his credit after a couple of calls he did deliver them that evening.

I've seen the bad press he gets on the web which may be a little unfair. Thing is though, his prices are very reasonable, especially against most of the breakeryard/equicar cartels.

I dissagree with all above comments, i buy all my land rover parts off no fear offroad, infact i even bought my old discovery from them, they offer a great service and low prices, they always have the parts in stock, very helpfull on the phone and to be fair offer a very rare service, if you go to there yard they are always happy to help and show you around, they take the parts off whilst you wait have friendly staff and even have there own delivery driver, for second hand parts there my number 1 shop

Ive used no fear parts and they were very very poor.WOuldnt recomend

Wernt No Fear an off shoot of Nike in the 80/90's???

Wish Ihad known this information 2 weeks ago, paid over £600 for a heap of scrap to repair what was an immaculate Defender TD5 before we had an accident! Trusted in what they said on telephone, what was delivered was not even TD5!

You not the only one. Mind you they threatened to drive the fork lift into my car with my kids still in it!

they can't even spell various on their website!!! variouse engines.... says it all really dunnit

Why doesn't everyone complain to the various 4x4 and land rover mags that carry their adverts???????????????

So are they changing their name to "reasonable amount of fear about whether your transaction will be successful"
