roof panel seals were green with mould when i bought mine
given it's a fungus .. i used dettol surface cleaner ..
killed mould 'n wiped off easy ..
dried and followed with some armor-all protectant ..

patio/fence cleaner
zounds a bit harsh :)
as in .. what's it do to rubber .. is it compatible ?

i figured
1 .. kill the fungus so it might lose it's ability to cling to the rubber
2 .. remove it .. sponge and paper towel did the job
3 .. coat the rubber with a rubber protectorant to stop the fungus getting a hold again

only used the dettol as it kills 'stuff' .. don't harm the rubber ..
'n it's what i had around at the time :)

i've had no fungus re-growth since .. that's 5 years ..
prev. owner lived 15 miles from here .. so fungus growth potential similar i'd guess

Any all purpose cleaner and a old tooth brush (a detailing brush would be better ) I'd recommend bilt hamber surfex will easily remove it . I do car detailing as a side line
