I have only owned this landy just over a week. my last one was terrible on long journeys, but this one was great. Me and my fiance decided to take it out for a spin last night and we ended up travelling over 200 miles altogether. it didnt over heat which is always a bonus and it only used 1/4 tank of diesel.we ended up going to doncaster never coming within 10 miles of leeds..it was a great drive if you like country roads...Dont try without a sat nav if you cant read maps.:D ..and with the 6 CD changer..Metal and Classic rock all the way :)

Just remember 1/4 of a tank is probably more than 1/4. You will probably need to put 30 litres in to fill it right up again. saying that if you got anywhere close to 30mpg you did well. I got rid of the 6 cd stack as the cable from the head unit was playing up so I put a Sony Giga Mex Cd player with a removable front that works like a 1GB Mp3 so up to 500 classic rock tracks at my command. Its actually full of Pink Floyd at the moment. With a few Saxon tracks and Deep Purple thrown in for good measure.

lol. the landy..the stereo was the best thing bout it :D my dad owns that one now..its a great runner on short journeys and thats all he needs one for...so my loss was my dads gain :D
