morning all,
Will be doing the 6 monthly oil change shortly-will also be changing crank filter, and I re-call the 1st time I did it after just purchasing last year I had a terrible time inserting the paper filter I could not push it in to the filter housing no matter how hard I tried, it was the right way round ended up putting it into the other part of the housing on the vehicle and then, placing top housing on and tightening it up. Could it be non LR part?

Hi Gerry i presume you are talking about the PCV filter which sometime you have to undo the injector hose by removing the spring clips do not lose any.

Tease up the T joint with a thin screwdriver or use some pliers to grip the square part a lift upwards, do not pry up under the joint ends they can break.

Thankyou for this I did wonder about the injector clips so that solves that problem, but I did have trouble also with the engine oil filter it would not push into the upper housing I had to put it into the the engine part of the housing then screw upper housing down on to it.
