7m of wiring later and all me lights are now working. Why oh why don't they fit a logical wiring loom in at the factory instead of the rats nest with built in short circuits all over the place if one component fails :(

Anyway, Hen party down at the Arms this evening, followed by adult Halloween fancy dress - might find it difficult to spot where one stops and the next starts ;)

Got my wiring sorted today. Headlamps wouldn't work at all till our Myrtle pressed the horn then one on dip one on mainbeam, no brakelights I hadn't connected them under the bonnet, tail lights one brakelight on instead of side light sidelight comes on instead of brakelight, indicators side repeater wouldn't work and rear same side bulb blown everything Ok with new bulb. I gonna connect that odd brown/black wire to the battery tommorer if you see a mushroom cloud over east Yarksheeeer it wuz me!!!

Well ah dint see no big 'shroom clouds over t'east coast today so I assume all is working :D

On another note, I've got me front spots working as well as me interior courtesy light - rear fog light switch turns spots on when high beam is engaged. Now, WTF turns me rear fogs on as I've got an MOT in a couple a weeks :(

Nah I sussed wot the wire was for, it's a separate feed to the big yeller and the little tin relay type things inside the drivers side dash, an it's all got summat to do with the rear window heater, an seein as how I ant got one then it was all fer nuffink. I bunged a switch fer me spots in a little hole fer a switch on the steering column, but I ant put me spots on yet.
