P38A Good mechanic in the Midlands

Hi guys,

Took the rangie in for the wheels to be balanced last week and while it was up on the ramps I had a look at the airbags. Very bad. Massive amount of cracking and I'd even go so far as saying that they were originals. So, ordered a new set from Island 4x4 which came on Friday morning. Passenger side airbags let go Friday night lol. Anyone know any good mechanics in the Birmingham/black country area? Anyone had any dealings with Tysley 4x4?

There's a 'how to' on here. Very very easy job to do yourself.

Was thinking of it but don't have a drive and really don't fancy doing it on the road in this weather. Plus I think the clips are going to be well rusted on.

Can you rent some space for a few hours. The clips can be a real git but were the worst part of doing mine.

If the clips are that rusted, a chisel/lever between the mounting and the end cap shears the clip's/pin's, remember your not trying to save the old bags.
