Hi all,
After serching this forum I am looking to buy a set of General Grabber AT2 for my Disco 2.
I called a specialist and he tells me that Cooper tyres are a better make, yet I can find no evidence of this from previous posts.........so am I been mugged off by the dealer ?

if both were priced evenly id have the coopers but thats just personal opinion, but i believe the at2 are a great tyre

Hi

i have a similar thread on tyres on bf goodrich tyres and found out on here that my bf goodrich all-terrains t/a's are the same tread pattern as grabber at 2s and just as good as each other but the grabbers are a bit cheeper.

the bfg's will out last the grabbers by a very big margin ;)

Well that's what I always thought, but I'm being told that the more recent range of BFG AT's are not the same compound and do not have the same durability.

I've just been onto Camskill Tyres and they are doing 265/75/16 in AT² and Cooper STT for the same price. BFG is about 20% more money - IF they lasted loads longer that might be fine, but if they have somehow downgraded their durability it's not fine at all.
