gearbox/transfer box and diff oils?

was just wondering what grade oils for the following?

gearbox
transferbox
diffs

also how many litres in them? is there a way of checking when you have got enough in?

also ive read about swivels requring oil?

All the items have fluid level plugs unless it's an auto. Do a search as this question has come up a few times before and it would be a idea to get yourself a Haynes Maintenance manual where this and more will be fully explained.

i did a search but couldnt find anythijg of relevence, yeh i will have to get a haynes. its a manual box.

You don't say if it's a manual or auto box, so I'm working on the basis of manual:

1. Gearbox - MTF94, 2.5ltrs, difficult to find, you might need to go to an LR dealer.

2. Transfer box - 2.3ltrs )
3. Each axle - 1.7ltrs so 3.5 for both; )
Both need EP75-90 API GL-5
