warranty was 24 months or 12000 miles but did not use car for some time but now caravan season here it is needed again
garage say no faults found and it did seem cured even though they said nothing was done but now back with a vengeance any ideas

You may need to contact citizens advise as with the covid your car may not have been driven at all. I don't know if this affect your guarantee.
5000 miles on a substantial repair job is a little too short in my eyes.

Did they change the oil cooler and pipes? They can hold contaminated oil and swarf that will bugger your new box and t/c.

Hi yes had new oil cooler and pipes fitted when new gearbox fitted
on 12000 mile gearbox service had the whole system flushed and new oil and filter fitted
I have had wheel bearings and drive shafts checked but still the vibration is there
on a previous thread someone mentioned that an oil seal in the gearbox can cause this any one have any thoughts

Having the wheels and power train turning while on a ramp could help the problem. Maybe a bent wheel or prop just slightly out of true?
