I refuse to answer that on the grounds that it may incriminate me.

I saw a photo on instagram: it still has a lot of levers in the armrest. And the car is very elevated. Could it be him? Everything is possible, if there is a desire.

I have a problem with transfer box neutral, I need to fix the transfer box drive position sensor. You've found a cheap solution to the problem?
Best start a new thread ref transfer box.;)

x3 diesel box, x3 transfer box, modded cradle and prop-shafts electronics box to trick ecu into thinking still an auto box fitted,
vw gear selector, due to the covid problem taken a bit longer to do all the road trials but now confident in traveling long distance in her

So after doing my first long journey in it I’m wondering if it’s engine related and not gearbox.
Travelling along a dual carriageway no issues if it’s flat. Going up a slight hill at that speed and the revs were bouncing between 2500rpm and 2600rpm but no loss in speed I had the cruise control on.

Got to a really steep hill on a dual carriageway were most small engined cars struggle to maintain 70mph my td5 discovery would drop to 50mph up it. The Range Rover went down to about 35mph it would then rev at 3000 it wouldn’t let me force a downshift. After it was very rough the engine sounded noticeably louder.
I have checked all vacuum hoses and none were split. I also replaced all turbo hoses as the old ones were looking sorry for themselves. I have not looked at what codes have been generated.
