Ready to fit this Crossmember but, not sure which way it goes in,
Also I have the bolts numbered 22, M10 X 100 in photo, and need the 27s M10 X 25, Now im sure the bottom holes in crossmember were threaded as there is a nut welded on, should I try and rethread or drill out so the M10 goes through and put nut on??, also bolts 26 and 29 are not shown are these M10 bolts?
2 photos of crossmember, which way up does it go ?
Really sorry for all these questions, but haven't got a clue just want to get it right.
Thanks Everyone

Ah, yours is different to mine. Mine is NTC9262, if you google that it's got a round section in the middle and the gaps are equidistant. Sorry I can't help.
Mines a 110, were you in Stanley Consett area the other day?, seen Yellow Defender like yours

thats a td5 crossmember

The nuts with no thread have a (special?) Bolt forced through them cutting a thread during assembly. Just tap them out.

Thanks, will it matter that its a TD5 as mine is 300 Tdi mated to LT77 ?
which way does it come up, first photo or second photo ?

Mine is fitted to my 200tdi LT77 combo. The 4 bolt holes that have the threaded nuts go at the bottom. The small “cut out” section goes towards the front of the vehicle, so the front propshaft doesn’t catch during suspension travel.

Which photo Mate first or second, Arrow pointing towards front of chassis.

The crossmewmber is fitted to prevent the chassis legs from flexing too much.
Mine is a round tube with a 4-hole flange at each end, unlike yours which, as @jamesmartin says, is the 'wrong one!
However, with me being me, if the holes all line up, and the chassis legs are parallel when it's been fitted, then I can't see any reason why yours wouldn't be OK.
@sp00k How's the home brew coming along? Have you turned your garage into a micro-brewery yet??
