gear box wich 1 do i need help im new

helo ther all landy owners i need help i done a conversoin on my 90 about 2 months ago took the old 19j td engine out put 200tdi in real sweet but i would like a bit more top end it realy pulls well the lt77 box realy qwik but on top end its wonting a bit off relaxment revs droping down a bit but i dont wont to lose the rapid responce i got on the take off like i would be real happy to have some good tips ive been told to put a defender 300 tdi box on ther let me now cheers the gyp :)

either a overdrive or fit a discovery transfer box ;)
 
disco 1.22/1 tapered bearing (T suffix) transfer box lt230 off disco and you need to drill it to fit hand brake

you can get away with drilling the handbrake bracket to fit the box ;)

is just bolt off bolt on the tranfer box no cutting or modefying enthing /thank you very much for the info shall let you now wen its done should be next week :)

need to swap the box rubber mount from your old trani box to the disco 1 (differant )

:D beleive me you were lucky there is another newbie on here thats getting your share of the flack LOL
but if you show respect you get it in return (most of the time anyway);)
 
I find its best to start in 5th and work your way down the gearbox...that way you feel like you're sitting on the space shuttle...until things fall off and you crash and burn to death...actually thats exactly like the space shuttle.
 
ar its good to have a banter its like a game off rugby i just wont some good old tips could give some back some day :)
