Is it nearly payday already? Gonna be a tight one this month
All good insight though, thanks!
With grease and sealants though, i seem to see multiple types used during a job. Would a basic all purpose grease and gasket sealant be ok or do specific jobs needs different ones depending on what it is and what its used on?

Dewalt impact gun ....must resist:eek:

have to say the farm have a dewalt one and then we had an option on some smaller milwalkee ones at the right price and we all bought them..

got more power than dewalt and fits in smaller spaces and can set the torque for 4 different settings, super bit of kit..

mine is covered in oil in last post on my thread on one job leads to another..

toolbox looks nice i am thinking of some lower wheeeled section for mine as it is a pain keep pulling it out of shed etc..or moving it round workshop

I tend to keep a tube of hylomar blue as it doesn't set like silicone and I've got a tube of copper grease and a tub of general silicon grease for wheel bearings and the like, both from Halfords:D

I've wanted the lower part for a good eight years but always spent the money on something else, they've only just bought it out as it's got four deep drawers and is 36" wide. I've got a smaller air powered impact gun and a 240v machine mart one

I had a vat free voucher last week so it was 280 quid for the base and I can blag it for business use:D

that’s an extremely good price and at least u know it will last

funny enough i just ordered a small air wrench , with all the suspension / turbo, ARB, etc , work i’ve got coming up i know i won’t be able to get the full size air wrench in a lot of places

thought for the money and nothing special , will be ideal for those hard to get to places and also comes with different torque adjustment

not my favourite tool ,ive a few but rarely use then

small powerful 3/16 impact gun and long handle ratchet,is what you want, youll just bash your hands with the air rachets

have got a more powerful impact gun but simply won’t go in there, agree ref a longer bar but will rip the hell out of my back and got to be very careful because of all the pins and plates i’ve got

well a air ratchet is pointless then, get a smaller impact gun it has hammer action, your ratchet is pure torque through your hand

thks, did have a look earlier , all i found was the larger impact guns , admit though i was only looking on ebay

tightening isnt the issue, that can be done with a ratchet or bar,its the undoing

indeed , that’s what i’ve been looking for , but couldn’t find as of yet a small impact gun like the same size in the other link

an impact gun uses a hammer action an air ratchet uses straight twisting torque against your hand but suddenly

i better cancel that one as that doesnt sound too clever with it being like that

thks so much and you’ve just saved me a world of hurt , cheers buddy

assume they do a small type impact wrench
