Further to LASERBOOTS thread, i wouldnt mind decent sounds in my motor,,,,

obviously the freelander 1.8 is pretty noisy to run, thus messing the tunes, whats the best sound proofing to get to deaden the engine noise to allow better clarification of tunes i like to play n where to put it? guys n gals let me know your best info to this question..... thanks in advance

1st option - Buy 400 cans of foaming filler. Open the nearside front window by no more than 1cm, open rear window. Working from rear, start early in the morning - by 19:00 hours, cans shd be empty and car full of foam.
2nd option - take car out of garage, turn engine off, put armchair and hi-fi in garage and listen in there.
3rd option - turn off engine.
4th option - dont turn on engine.
