FULL HEAD GASKET SET...Any good?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Which way up do they go. If only I'd known the answer to that question 6 weeks ago, I'd would have 2 less stripdowns and 1 less headset under my belt.

The head gaskets should have one side where the composite covers the whole side and the other side has metal parts on top of the composite between the bore holes.
The 'shiny' side is top.
Alternatively, fit the passenger gasket first (RHD car) and if it covers the hole where the dipstick tube goes, its upside down. Simple.

EDIT: If the budget will stretch to it, I fitted a set of ARP studs too, makes the torqueing of the heads less guesswork (without the angle gauge) and more mechanical. 3 torque stages, nice and simple, less stress on the aluminium threads and fully reuseable time and time again.
