Fuel tanks locations

Hey guys!

Im going to be replacing the in tank fuel pump on the P38 4.0

Im going to be using the 'hatch through the boot' method which iv been reading up alot about and looks great

However all the info seems to be for the DSE models, is the pump in the same place for mine?

The reason for that is that without the in-tank pump working the diesel can be a bugger to start. I can't help you with the petrol but thought if I responded it would bump your thread back up the pile and might attract someone's attention.

Failing that you could always check part numbers (or ask a breaker) to see if it's the same tank fitted regardless of the fuel.

Have you got RAVE? Nothing to help you on there?

The petrol version has a larger tank 100 litres as opposed to 90 litres for the diesel. To be honest i don't know the answer, other than by getting underneath and taking a look i would not know. Nothing in RAVE gives a clue as far as i can see.
