Fuchs Titan 4000 ATF Oil ok?

Hi,

Just been to get gearbox and diff oil from my local unipart (as they were cheapest) and they gave me Fuchs Titan 4000 ATF and Fuchs Titan 75/90 semi synth for the diff's. Just checking if this stuff is alright to use and nobody has had any bad experiences with it.

Also where is best to purchase the transmission oil filter?

Personally I wouldn't use anything but Dexron, the formula is protected by patents.

I have that oil in mine and runs perfect, it's Dexron 3 by the way get it cheaper from: Opie Oils - Fuchs TITAN ATF 4000 Multifunctional Automatic Transmission Fluid

Hi Druim,

thanks for the feedback, i did go to Opie Oils once i got it home and i got it a lot cheaper. The full 11 litres for £50 including VAT and paid £22 for 4 litres of the diff oil.

Your right it is dexron 3 this was one of my criteria whilst looking

I also use the same oil in the transfer box & power steering, no problems and makes it easy to remember what's what...

20 litres atf dexron 3 is only 44 quid delivered to your door from smith and allen in darlington
