Front propshaft repair?

Fitted new UJ's to my front propshaft on my series 3 88 only to find a little play in the middle where the rubber gator is. Am I looking at a new propshaft complete or is there a bearing etc inside there that I can replace?? Already re newed the back one complete so hoping I can do something less exspensive with the front one.

Surely it would have been better to just buy a new one from the off ? Only about £35 aren't they ?

probably, but I didnt reckon to the wear being in the splines to begin with, thought it was the UJ's Think there between £50-£60 I get charged another £20 ontop of that delivery because i live in Scotland on an Island
