Freelander TD4 Starting Issues

I did not have the tools to remove an injector so I visited the garage yesterday. They had about fifty used engines imported for parts.
Tried few injectors but most of them were blocked. Finally found one working. After fitting, starting seems fixed. However, if I accelerate hard, EML comes on and limp mode activates. Engine stops if I accelerates further. P1190 - fuel pressure plausibility error is stored.
Replaced fuel rail sensor and fuel pressure regulator, no difference. Fuel pressure reached up to 108 kpa when accelerate.
Having nothing else to replace, they suggest to replace the high pressure pump. I was sure that the pump is fine because 108 kpa is reached but having no option, I agreed. They detached a bit rusty pump from an old engine and fitted. Wow, what a difference! I had totally forgotten she could run that fast. No EML or limp mode. Fuel pressure reached up to 130 kpa.
They took back the fuel rail sensor. (That's the advantage of working with them. They have so many old spare parts that we can try and if not needed, they take it back.) Regulator they gave me the pump. So I had to pay for the injector, high pressure pump and labor charges - 432 £.


Since now I have the removed injector and the knowledge, definitely I will try this and will keep it as a spare injector. Thanks GrumpyGel and the original author!
I wish to repair the removed pump as well.

You fuel pressure is wrong. 106 to 130 Kpa is out by an order of magnitude. You should see ~25,000 Kpa at idle and up to ~120,000 Kpa flat out.
 
I'm not asking silly money for them.Not sure what the postage wouldbe , but if you covered the cost i'd post them

Idle - 780rpm :- 28000 kpa
No load - 2000rmp :- 58000 kpa
With load - WOT :- 106000 kpa (before fitting the new pump)
With load - WOT :- 130000 kpa (after fitting the new pump)

@Nodge68, Are these values normal?
