Hi, I have a 2005 Land Rover freelander TD4. The passenger side rear running light does not work, all of the other lights and indicators work. I have tried a new bulb and tested the bulb connector which proved there was no power supply.

Can anyone provide any advice?

Thanks
Jack

Check that there is no water in the connector I have seen that before, look for corroded wires, maybe blow it out with some air, and use some Isopropyl contact cleaner.

Thanks for the heads up I will try it at the weekend. I am also going to check the fuses and towbar wiring. This car has also had an aftermarket reverse camera fitted which also needs checking. Once this is sorted I will move on to the rear right electric window which doesn't work.

Cheers
Jack

Needs a new housing. Mine went the same and although I had electrical continuity through the bulb contacts it just wouldn't work. Bought a new one from Land Rover and it worked straight away. Was less than £30 if I remember.

Thanks for the reply, when testing the contactors in the housing with a multimeter it read zero power. I will try swapping the housing from the other side before I order just in case it is a wire break. There's also an aftermarket reverse camera fitted which could possibly be causing the issue.

Cheers. Jack

I'd have thought the reverse camera would be wired into the reverse lights circuit. So unless the installation caused damage to the tail light wiring, the two shouldn't be connected.
