Hi everyone,

Just a quick couple of questions i'm hoping someone might be able to help me with?
I have a freelander TD4 (03 plate). I use the car a bit off road (noting to serious-its a freelander. hehe), I've noticed on climbing hills when traction is lost the Traction control light comes on. Is this normal, is it simpley tell me the car has lost traction and the TC is active, or does it mean there is a fault with the TC? it only really comes on when traction is lost so hoping thats what its ment to do.

Apart from (leading to my next question); very occasionally both the traction control and orange hill decent control failier light come on together, this is when i'm just driving normally on road in good weather, usually happens when i brake if it does happen. only stays on for 20 - 40 seconds then it'll go off again. Usally does it 3 or 4 times in a row then wont happen again for a good few weeks, i trust this definatly isn't normal but just wondered if anyone had any suggestions, its been in to a local garage but they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it because typically it won't do it when they road tested it.

Hopefully someone might be able to help me on either of these question. Thanks, Chris. :)

First part yep tractiona control works when traction is lost(?!)
Second part might be the begining of the three amigos and as mhm would say do a search for "three amigos"

So the light coming on when traction is lost (TC is active) is whats ment to happen? its not telling me theres a fault in that situation?
Cool, i'll google three amigos and see what i can find. Thank you.
