Hello and greeting from Finland! I've bought myself a td4 freelander and have a problem with the gearbox. The problem is with reverse. It works fairly good when it's cold but when it's warm I need to revs the engine over 2500rpm until it goes. It feels like its slipping. You can't even reverse into small uphill cause it just doesn't go. Oil has been change. Measured the pressure and when it was cold, the pressure was on idle about 10 bar and with 2000 rpm about 20 bar. When it heats up, Pressure is on idle about 6 bar and 2000rpm about 10 bar. Heres the tricky part. If you disconnect the gearbox wiring plug, pressure is on idle about 8 bar and 2000rpm about 18 bar. Seems pretty intresting! What might be the problem?
