Freelander Cluth issues

Hello all,

I've had a bad release bearing so pulled the lot out replace the bearing and the clutch.

We have the gear box offered up and is lining up but will not slide in the last 3 or 4 (ish) cms.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Did you remove the IRD?

I did, The IRD is on the bench.

What did you use to align the clutch disc?

We managed to get the gearbox back in, patience, perseverance, brute force and ignorance all played important roles.
